Nov 12, 2018 · For your reference I have a Samsung Q90R TV and a Denon X6400H. One bonus hack: CEC from the Portal TV wreaks havoc on my system. I can’t control power or volume on Apple TV when the Portal is plugged into the Denon. CEC is the culprit. It can’t be fully disabled on Portal TV software, but it can be blocked with a simple cable hack.

I have heard from a friend of a friend who works for Facebook and was on the portal team, that the Portal TV is under powered in terms of processing and perhaps other components and this is likely why it does not yet support Zoom. I'm in this same hellhole using this portal TV which I feel leaves a lot to be desired on the API side.

But I haven't been able to reproduce the problem in test calls between the Portal TV and my own phone or laptop.
